About Us
Howell Industries NZ provides 3d printing and 3d scanning services out of Hamilton NZ. Backed with over 15 years of industrial engineering experience, we have the experience to produce quality products and solutions.
We specialize in producing functional parts and reverse engineering, using parametric CAD software, a Infrared VCSEL structured light scanner and FDM 3d printers.

Our FDM 3d printers can create complex geometries for a fraction of the price of traditional manufacturing methods. 3d printing lends itself superbly to low quantity production runs, prototyping and complex geometries in low/medium strength applications.
Design
Design
Howell Industries NZ has the ability to produce designs to client specifications using parametric CAD software. We specialize in producing designs for machining, fabrication, profile cutting and 3d printing. Our output files are DXF, DWG, STL and STEP.
3d Scanning
3d Scanning
Our 3d scanner can replicate extremely complex geometries within minutes. 3d scanning is ideal for projects where the subject piece cannot be removed for measurement. The mesh generated by the scanner can be 3d printed straight away or be further processed in a CAD program.
